Newwave Solutions Celebrates a Decade of Growth in Software Development Industry
This year marks the 10th birthday of Newwave Solutions as the region’s preferred provider of SaaS (software as a service). Against the backdrop of a rapidly evolving technological environment, we are proud to have served millions of customers all over the world. When we reflect on how far we’ve come, several terms spring to mind: challenge, difficulty, surprise, and achievement. But one word jumps out above all others: gratitude.
Looking back
From Humble Beginnings in Hanoi (2011)
Born from the vision of passionate software developers, Newwave Solutions began as a small technology startup in 2011.
The first workspace was a modest kitchen corner, where the founding team developed eMenu, an electronic restaurant menu product. Although the project faced challenges, it inspired a return to the company’s core strength — software development services.
Despite obstacles, Newwave Solutions’ founding members turned their vision into reality, learning and improving with every project while transforming early difficulties into opportunities for growth.
Expanding to Our First Office on Hoang Dao Thuy Street (2012–2013)
Just two years after inception, Newwave Solutions became a trusted partner in game development for international clients.
This success led to the company’s first official office at 17T3 Hoang Dao Thuy Street, Hanoi, marking a major step forward in professionalization.
That same year, the company signed a significant contract with a major Japanese customer, further strengthening its foothold in the global outsourcing market.
Overcoming Challenges and Building Partnerships (2014–2015)
The year 2014 brought both opportunities and trials. Newwave Solutions welcomed a wave of new clients and continued to maintain close partnerships that remain strong today.
However, by the year’s end, the company faced major challenges that tested its resilience.
Instead of stepping back, the team pushed harder. In 2015, Newwave Solutions successfully secured a partnership with Nittsu System Co., Ltd, a turning point that fueled steady growth and positioned the company for international success.
Mr. Mikiharu Matsuura, General Director of Nittsu System Co., Ltd, shared: “Newwave Solutions has been innovating system development since 2015. We received great continuous support for technology enhancement in areas where we had little knowledge. The engineers were highly adaptive to new changes at each stage of development, and we were very satisfied with the quality of their work. We hope to continue strengthening this partnership and benefiting from their excellent software services.”
A New Era of Leadership (2017)
In 2017, Mr. To Quang Duy, a seasoned professional with more than two decades of experience, was appointed CEO, succeeding Mr. Pham Hai Nam.
Under his leadership, the company enhanced employee benefits, improved business regulations, standardized workflows, and welcomed a new partnership with MAG Co., Ltd, laying a strong foundation for sustainable growth.
Expanding Globally with a Japan Office (2019)
In 2019, Newwave Solutions achieved another major milestone by establishing Newwave Solutions Japan in Bunkyo, Tokyo.
The representative office expanded the company’s ability to support clients in Japan through modern facilities and closer collaboration with global partners.
That same year, Newwave Solutions officially introduced its Division Model Management structure to streamline operations.
When the COVID-19 pandemic began affecting the world later in 2019, the company faced difficult circumstances but remained resilient, supported by loyal clients and partners. During this time, Newwave Solutions was entrusted by Dat Xanh Group, one of Vietnam’s leading real estate enterprises, to handle business analysis and design for a large-scale project.
Strengthening the Leadership Team (2020–2021)
The pandemic years brought both hardship and growth. Determined to professionalize its structure, Newwave Solutions expanded its leadership with key appointments:
- COO: Mr. Nguyen Thanh Trung
- Sales Managers: Ms. Tran Thi Thu Huong and Ms. Hoang Kim Xuyen (Headquarters and Japan Branch)
In addition, the integration of Naxam Co. Ltd and GISoftware JSC under Newwave Solutions’ management expanded its SaaS capabilities and reinforced its market presence.
New key members also joined the leadership team:
- Mr. Vu Duc Tuyen – Market Manager
- Mr. Pham Ba Vu – Vice Manager, Division 2
- Mr. Nguyen Duc Phu
These leaders have played pivotal roles in guiding the company toward greater professionalism and efficiency.
A Decade of Growth and Innovation
